School Year Reduced by Two Days
The change was made in light of the loss of three school days already.

The school year has been reduced from 183 to 181 days this years, School Committee members voted unanimously tonight.
Committee members agreed with Superintendent of Schools Jay Cummings' recommendation to reduce the days to help ensure that the school year will not end any later than Friday, June 22.
Running the school year into the next week woud be cumbersome, he said.
