Sex Offender Case Continued Again

Addeo returns to court July 12.

The case against sex offender Brian Addeo for allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill has been continued yet again.

Addeo is now scheduled to appear July 12 at Westborough District Court.

Addeo, a resident of Grafton, made headlines in March when he removed his court-mandated GPS bracelet and fled the area.

The counterfeit money charge, which is separate from the bracelet incident, resulted when he allegedly passed a counterfeit  bill Dec. 8 to owner Michael Adwe at Grafton Auto Sales, 101 Worcester St.

Addeo is currently serving an automatic six-month sentence at the Worcester County House of Correction in West Boylston for breaking his parole by removing the bracelet.

Addeo was ordered to wear the GPS monitoring bracelet as a condition of parole, which he was granted April 29, 2010.

On that date, he pled guilty to a series of charges, including three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and four counts of statutory rape of a child.

A plea deal was accepted, the district attorney's office said, in part because no witnesses were willing to come forward.
