Temperature Could Reach 100 Today
Severe storms are possible amid the sultry conditions.

The National Weather Service has posted a hazardous weather outlook for the area.
The service reports that severe thunderstorms will be likely today ahead of a cold front which will push offshore by the evening.
The main threats anticipated are damaging winds, large hail and torrential downpours which could lead to localized flooding.

In addition, hot, humid and sultry conditions will push temperatures well into the mid and upper 90s, with a few locations hitting the 100 mark.Â
But relief is predicted tomorrow, when temperatures top out at 81. The weekend could be cloudy, with temperatures barely reaching 70.
