UniBank to Take Over Pizza Site

Planning Board members gave the OK last night to plans to transform the Tast-Pizza into a UniBank branch.

UniBank plans to raze the current structure and do a site clean-up at the location at 89 Worcester St. The pizza restaurant closed more than a year ago.

The branch will feature two drive-through lanes.

UniBank plans to do some grading work at the front of the building to ensure that the adjacent Usher Street is easier to fire apparatus to enter and exit, Town Planner Stephen Bishop said.

Planting will be done in the rear and to the side of the building.

An exact opening is not available, but Bishop said he suspects it will be sometime later next year.
