Wild Times on Merriam Road

Kids and adults can search for wildflowers and birds.

Take a free safari without leaving town when the Grafton Garden Club hosts a free “kids and adults’’ safari at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the conservation area at 69 Merriam Road.

A search for wildflowers and native and migratory birds will be led by Christy Barnes, a Massachusetts Audubon natural history guide and former biology and botany teacher.

Participants are asked to park along the entrance. Helen Blazis serves as chairman of the event.
