Winter Weather Advisory for Grafton, Southern Worcester County

A winter weather advisory was put into effect until 1 p.m. Sunday for Grafton and other parts of southern Worcester County.

The National Weather Service predicted snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour. The snow was expected to fall through mid-afternoon; Monday is predicted to be free of precipitation.

A winter weather advisory is issued when snow and ice are expected to accumulate. The National Weather Service noted that these conditions could complicate driving, but would not make it impossible.

Monday's forecast is sunny, with a high near 29. Wind chill values could be as low as -7, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
