Women Raise Funds to Help Locals Get Jobs
The 5th annual Ladies' Night Out helped support local women looking for jobs.
Shopping for jewelry, drinks and sweets, local women helped support Dress for Success Worcester, an organization that aims to help unemployed women find jobs by providing them with professional clothing.Â
Liz O'Neil, a board member of Dress for Success Worcester, said more than 200 people attended the event, raising more than $13,000 for the organization.Â
Local businesses from Grafton, Worcester, Shrewsbury and elsewhere donated food, liquor, and other items to the event, which was held in the Audi Shrewsbury dealership.Â
