World of Fun at Summer Reading Program
Library will host a variety of activities.

This year's theme is One World, Many Stories.
Children can register online at www.readsinma.org; click on G for Grafton. Or they can register at the library starting Wednesday, June 15.

Activities planned include:
Wednesday, June 22, 6:30 to 8 p.m.: Summer Reading Kickoff.

The kickoff will be held at the Common and will feature Jungle Jim Manning, who will present folk tales, songs and balloons.
Saturday, June 25, 2 p.m.
Cheryl Holley of the Nipmuc Tribe will show what life was like years ago for this Grafton tribe. At the Children's Room or on the lawn.
Saturday, July 2, 1-2 p.m.
Angel Hair alpacas will visit the library lawn as part of South America week.
Thursday, July 7, 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Origami master will show how to make paper cranes, which will be sent to youngsters in Japan affected by the earthquake and tsunami. This is part of Japan week.
Wednesday, July 20, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Jungle Encounters will introduce youngsters to animals, exotic and otherwise, and teach them about their struggles and successes in a diverse world.
Tuesday, July 26, 1 to 3 p.m.
Learn about Loru, a Maori art form from Australia's aboriginal people.Â
Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2 to 4 p.m.
Cool off by making Antarctic smoothies.
