5 Things To Do This Weekend
Here are some weekend events taking place in the towns this weekend.

Looking for something to do this weekend? With rain expected Saturday, we have you covered with some indoor events to keep the kids busy and dry.
1. Hoops - Hamilton-Wenham boys' basketball will take on Wayland in Wayland at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night. It's a drive but a good opportunity to cheer on the home team.
2. All That Jazz - The Travel back to Chicago in 1924, to see a story of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery, and treachery. Come hear the jazz and see the razzle-dazzle, ‘cause that’s Chicago! Reservations are available by calling 978-468-2194. March 2 & 3 at 7:30 p.m.; March 4 at 2:30 p.m.

3. Act 1 - The "High School Drama Festival will be held on Saturday, at the Ferrini Dramatics Center. HWRHS is once-again serving as a host site for the preliminary round of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s premier event, featuring one-act plays from seven area high schools throughout the day. Tickets are $10 (to attend all day or less) and are only available at the door.
4. Checkmate - Can you beat a chess Master if he's playing 30 other people at once? Saturday at 1 p.m. All ages are welcome. Call to save your seat 978-468-5577 or email Rebecca: rshea@mvlc.org.

5. Draw Me a Story - will take place on Sunday, from 1–4 p.m. The Dancing Cat Ballet will be performed at 3:15 p.m. Free with museum admission. Come dressed as your favorite children’s book character, make collage art and create block prints. Meet the exhibit’s featured artists at book signings and selected readings and enjoy special tours of the museum’s 17th-century house based on Giles Laroche’s book If You Lived Here. Then, feel the excitement as a wooden toy cat comes to life as a dancer in a live performance of The Dancing Cat Ballet performed by The Allegro Ballet Troupe. This event is open to all ages.
