Future of Hingham Up for Discussion with Planning Board
The Town of Hingham is working with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) to update its Master Plan.

The Hingham Planning Board is hosting a public forum about potential and future land use and development in Hingham Tuesday evening.
The meeting, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 22, is "open to anyone with an interest in the future of Hingham," according to a notice on the town website.
The town is working with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council "to update its Master Plan beginning with the goals and objectives of the plan. The process began earlier this year with a series of meetings with the Planning Board and other community groups. Housing, historic preservation, economic development and open space and recreation were discussed. Over 300 residents also shared their opinions in an on-line community survey."
A follow-up workshop will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
