Hingham Ferry Service Stopped For Third Day In A Row
Crews are working to repair the dock that was damaged by a boat in Wednesday's Nor'easter.

HINGHAM, MA — Ferry service in Hingham continues to be suspended Thursday as crews work to make repairs to the dock that was damaged in a nor'easter that caused destruction throughout Massachusetts.
The MBTA had already suspended ferry service in Hingham and Hull on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hull is running a modified ferry service on Thursday.

The MBTA was trying to get the ferry service running for Thursday morning, but an email from MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo Wednesday afternoon that the work "will not be completed in time for the morning commute."
Pesaturo said the dock was damaged by a boat that had crashed into it.
