The Hingham Public Library is hosting a pair of events on Thursday, July 18. The free events do not require advance registration. The first event is called Babies, Books and Play. Toddlers, babies and their families are invited to a short story time followed by playtime. The library's collection of toys will be available to attendees. From 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, the library will host a stop-by program called Make and Take Craft. Kids can stop by the children's desk for a craft kit. They can make the craft using library supplies and the take the item home. Anyone with questions can call the library at 781-741-1405 x2614.
