Hingham police offers took to Moon Island Monday and Tuesday night for night shooting and other low-light training exercises.  "Officers training drills during night shooting include pushing cruiser to increase heart rate and stress levels," the Hingham Police Department <a href="https://twitter.com/HinghamPolice/status/392801530409398274/photo/1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">said on Twitter</a>. "Night shooting is finishing up tonight but training is ongoing. Thanks to <a href="https://twitter.com/bostonpolice" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">@bostonpolice</a> for use of their range," the HPD tweeted around 10 p.m. Tuesday night. "One of our Firearms Instructors evaluates and reviews with Officer after each course at Moon Island range," HPD said Monday. The department is also in its sixth week of its <a href="https://hingham.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/hingham-citizens-police-academy-enrolling-now">Citizen's Police Academy</a> at Linden Ponds. Tuesday covered drunk driving and seat belt safety. Additional topics include K9 demonstrations and a course on ladder, ambulance and other rescue equipment.
