Local Teens Take Over Hingham Weather Website

While its founder has moved on to an on-air meteorologist position in Burlington, Vermont, HinghamWeather.com will continue to provide local weather for Hingham and the surrounding area.

Hingham native Michael Page started Hingham Weather in 2005 while attending Hingham High School. He continued to update the site as a student at Penn State where he studied meteorology with a focus on forecasting and communications.

Now, Page will forecast the weather in Burlington at FOX 44/ABC 22.

Page will still oversee the site as Tucker Antico, a Boston College High School sophomore from Cohasset, and Laura Kee, a Weston High School sophomore, will handle the daily updates.

In early May, Antico began updating the forecast section and Kee started submitting weather-related blogs to the site.
