Montessori School in Hingham Offering New Programs for Young Kids

Old Colony Montessori School in Hingham, celebrating 50 years this year, is now offering enrollment for two-day and three-day “Springboard to Montessori” programs for children ages 2.9 to 3 and a half years old.

The “Springboard to Montessori” program is designed for younger students to experience a sampling of the traditional Montessori five-day program, according to a statement from the school.  

Students enrolled in the “Springboard” program will be introduced to the same Montessori materials used in the traditional five-day classrooms. Students are prepared to matriculate seamlessly into the full-time classroom, continuing their journey through the Montessori curriculum.

In addition to the new “Springboard” program, OCMS offers 5-day preschool classrooms, full day Kindergarten and Elementary programs and myriad after school enrichment opportunities for all OCMS students.
