• Way Back Wednesday: Traffic on Main Street (hinghamanchor.com) — A historic photograph of Hingham’s Glad Tidings Plain shows Main Street as a tree-lined dirt road between Wilder Hall and Cushing Street, long before cars. The image, taken by Henry F. Guild before 1893, has appeared in multiple Hingham history books and calendars and now resides in the Hingham Historical Archives, preserving a familiar local view in its earliest form.
