Plymouth County District Attorney's Office: Man Charged With Setting Fire To Occupied Home In Wareham
There were four people located in the dwelling at the time of the fire. No one was injured.

WAREHAM – A man has been held without bail pending the outcome of a dangerousness hearing after he allegedly set fire to a home in Wareham, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.

Michael C. Muise, 26, was arraigned today in Wareham District Court on four counts of Attempted Murder, and one count each of Arson of a Dwelling and Breaking and Entering in the Daytime for a Felony. Muise was held without bail today pending the outcome of a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday.
Yesterday at approximately 5:20 p.m., Wareham Police and Wareham Fire responded to a structure fire at 29 Onset Avenue. Upon arrival, Wareham Fire requested mutual aid from the Bourne Fire Department and the fire was extinguished. There were four people located in the dwelling at the time of the fire. No one was injured.

After an investigation by Wareham Police, Onset Fire Department, the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section, the fire was ruled incendiary in nature and it was determined to have been set intentionally by Muise.
