Unlicensed Driver Arrested After Crashing Into Hingham Cruiser
Investigators believe the driver of the car did not apply the breaks prior to slamming into the stopped police cruiser.

HINGHAM, MA — An unlicensed driver from Weymouth was arrested Saturday after crashing into the back of a stopped Hingham police cruiser.
Police say an officer was stopped in traffic on Whiting St. on Route 53 waiting to turn left when a car coming from the same direction slammed into the back of the cruiser.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, so there were no injuries, but there was significant damage to both cars and the driver's car had to be towed from the scene.
