Venture out this Sunday and head South down Route 3 to find some fun spots outside of Hingham.
Plymouth
First stop in Plymouth and visit the historical Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower Ship. While you may be disappointed that the Plymouth Rock is just a rock, the Mayflower replica ship is worth seeing. In Plymouth you will get the opportunity to hop aboard the ship and get a closer view of where the 102 passengers signed the Mayflower Compact.

Falmouth
After Plymouth, head further South to Falmouth and be sure to check out Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The site is one of only 28 research and education facilities in the Country. Bring your whole family as there is live music and entertainment for adults, areas to have a family picnic, and many children’s activities.

Hyannis
Next on the road trip, venture further south to Cape Cod and stop in Hyannis, where the Kennedy families spend their summer. The JFK Museum on Main Street has many interesting exhibits relative to JFK’s time in office. You can also see the cemetery where Eunice Kennedy Shriver was buried and the church where many Kennedy cousins were married.
