Woman's Body Recovered After Driving Into Ocean Near Hull: Police

Police are not suspecting foul play at this time, but the incident remains under investigation.

HULL, MA — The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office is investigating the circumstances that lead to the death of a woman who drove a truck into the ocean off Pemberton Point in Hull Sunday afternoon.

Police say they received multiple calls around 2:50 p.m. Sunday of witnesses reporting a person driving a pickup truck onto the beach near Hull High School before driving directly into the water.

Multiple agencies and the Hull Harbormaster responded to help police in their search.

Both the truck and its driver were found in the water around 6 p.m. Police said the female driver was dead but did not release any further information pending the notification of family members.

Police said they do not suspect foul play at this time.
