Holliston High School Accepting Auction Items, Tax Work Off Deadline Extended
The Class of 2014 is looking for donations that can be auctioned to raise funds.

1. Holliston High School's Class of 2014 is accepting donations for its senior auction. The money will help defray costs of the Senior Prom, the class trip, the yearbook, the graduation party and the class gift. Drop off items at 1244 Highland St. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 17 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7. According to a flier, the class cannot accept items including: large appliances, sleeper sofas, TVs, computers or components, clothing, construction equipment and auto parts. 2. The deadline for applying for the Tax Work Off program in Holliston has been extended to Aug. 30. The program allows seniors to volunteer their services in exchange for a partial waiver of property taxes.
3. Dunkin' Donuts is hiring in Hopkinton and Holliston. A job fair will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays at the coffee chain's human resources office in Holliston, at 441 Washington St. Starting pay is $9.50 an hour.
