Holliston Teen Arrested, Charged With Attempting to Commit a Crime

Monday, April 8
10:45 a.m.: A caller from Gorwin Drive reported a suspicious person knocking at their door. The caller said they then heard a smash coming from the back of the house. Officers responded and searched for two men who fled the scene of the break-in on foot.
1:37 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Street reported that his vehicles had been entered into on Sunday. There didn’t appear to be anything missing from the vehicles.

4:36 p.m.: Officers responded to a one-car crash on Andrew Lane. The operator left but a short time later his father responded and spoke to an officer and the homeowner regarding property damage.
5:34 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating with a suspended license and operating with a failed inspection.

7:06 p.m.: A caller from Chamberlain Street reported an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed and pulling someone on a skateboard.
Tuesday, April 9
2:38 a.m.: An officer spoke with a person at the Holliston VFW for the second time. The person said he was leaving.
2:49 a.m.: Officers investigated a suspicious person at Holliston High School. Jeremy Whiting, 17, of 77 Woodland St. was arrested and charged with use of a motor vehicle without authority, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and attempting to commit a crime.
12:03 p.m.: One vehicle was involved in a crash on Charles Street.
6:05 p.m.: A security alarm was activated on Old Cart Path. Officers observed a small dog inside the house but did not find any signs of forced entry.
6:37 p.m.: A bicyclist was involved in a crash on Washington Street. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital.
