Metal Pig Stolen, Police Look to Charge Man with Drunken-Driving

Wednesday, April 10
7:36 a.m.: A caller from Fairview Street reported a suspicious man walking through the neighborhood taking pictures of houses.
3:34 p.m.: A caller reported a group of youths in an SUV on Marilyn Street. The caller said one of the youths climbed on to the roof while the vehicle was moving.

Thursday, April 11
6:40 a.m.: An officer from the Holliston Police Department checked on school bus pickups on Locust Street after calls regarding motor vehicle violations. No violations were observed.

Friday, April 12
3:45 a.m.: A caller from Tea Party Lane reported that they woke up when they heard their garage door opening. The caller’s car had been broken into but nothing was stolen.
2:55 p.m.: An officer issued a ticket to a vehicle parked facing the wrong direction on Washington Street.
5:25 p.m.: A caller from Fiske Street reported a possible break-in attempt.
8:54 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Concord Street. Michael C. Anzivino, 21, of 15 James Rd., Ashland was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding, marked lanes violation and following too close.
11:20 p.m.: An officer reported suspicious people near the Holliston Food Pantry on Water Street. An officer spoke with six people and another two fled on foot.
Saturday, April 13
12:47 p.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash in downtown Holliston. No injuries were reported.
3:41 p.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash on Washington Street. No injuries were reported.
Sunday, April 14
3:34 p.m.: An officer checked a group of vehicles parked on Cassandra Lane. The officer spoke to many people involved and assisted finding rides for several people who were drunk.
1:56 p.m.: A caller from Dunster Road reported a stolen bicycle.
4:12 p.m.: A caller from Wingate Road reported that a four-foot tall metal pig was stolen from their front yard.
Monday, April 15
5:26 a.m.: Several officers assisted with the Boston Marathon starting area in Hopkinton.
1:59 p.m.: A caller reported possible marijuana activity at Pleasure Point.
4:35 p.m.: Police responded to a call for a two-car crash on Prentice Street. A telephone pole was hit during the crash and was repaired by by NStar. One vehicle was towed. Police are seeking a summons to charge a driver who had been hospitalized with drunken-driving, speeding, marked lanes violation and operating to endanger.
