Police Log: Student Steals Computer, Drunk Driver

The following information was supplied by the Holliston police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, April 9

8:51 a.m.:  summonsed a High School student who reportedly stole computer equipment, damaged it, and returned it to the school. Detectives are currently investigating the incident. 

12:04 a.m.: A Winthrop Street resident reported an elderly male was walking alone. Police contacted his daughter, who said she will spend the night with him.

3:36 p.m.: Police received a report of a person begging for money on Washington Street. A relative agreed to bring the person money for gasoline. 

4:04 p.m.: A Washington Street resident reported being a victim of identity theft.

4:45 p.m.: A caller at the downtown Mobil Station reported seeing a driver who was possibly intoxicated. A second caller reported seeing the vehicle swerving on Norfolk Street. Police could not locate the vehicle.
