Police Respond to Shoplifting on Main Street, Nails in Road

Monday, March 25
8:07 a.m.: An officer assisted the Massachusetts State Police with a search for a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run crash. The vehicle was not located.
2:03 p.m.: A manager from a business on Main Street reported a shoplifting incident that occurred over the weekend.

Tuesday, March 26
4:02 a.m.: An officer checked a smashed mailbox on Granite Street. It was unclear whether the damage was caused by a plow or vandalism.

10:45 a.m.: An officer assisted with a tractor-trailer rollover on Route 495 at West Main Street. One person was transported to the hospital.
1:29 p.m.: An officer followed up a larceny on South Street.
7:37 p.m.: A person went in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report a large number of nails in the roadway on Mount Auburn Street. An officer responded but could not find any nails in the area.
