Police Respond to People in the Woods, Man Arrested on Warrants

Thursday, April 4

1:55 a.m.: A caller from Keeby Road reported a group of 8 people with a four-wheeler in the woods behind their property. The caller said they believed the people were removing parts of a vehicle stored in the area. Police responded and requested an ambulance for one person. They are seeking a complaint application to charge at least one person with possession of a class C substance.

6:57 a.m.: A caller from Wood Street reported that a vehicle nearly struck his son when his son was boarding the school bus. The caller said the vehicle passed the bus while it’s safety lights were activated.

2:13 p.m.: A caller from Lakeshore Drive reported a male in vehicle yelling out of his window. Officers spoke with the male who was disoriented.

9:31 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street and arrested Everardo Luna, 38, of 51 Linwood St., Uxbridge. Luna faced warrant charges of unlicensed operation and an equipment violation.
