3. IS JP Changing?: The JP New Economy Transition will host a meeting this Thursday titled "How is Jamaica Plain Changing?" The meeting will take place at Spontaneous Celebrations, 45 Danforth St. at 6:30 p.m.

5. Jimmy Fund Little League: Little leaguers of New England are being encouraged to grab a bat and glove and take a swing at cancer by joining the Jimmy Fund Little League Program presented by Extra Innings to help support adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The program, in its 27th year, gives kids a chance to play baseball or softball after their regular season ends. Play runs through July and August. Learn more at www.jimmyfund.org/littleleague.
