1. JPNDC: The Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation will hold its annual meeting tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 45 Brookside Ave.

2. Egleston: The Egleston Square Farmers' Market opens this weekend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1. Immediately following, they're going to have a pig roast fundraiser at Our Lady of Lourdes.

3. Weather: It's going to be hot and rainy today, but after today it's going to be just hot...very hot.

4. Urban Agriculture: Learn more about Boston’s proposed new urban agriculture regulations at a public meeting scheduled Monday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Suffolk University Law School, (120 Tremont St.) in the first-floor function room. All attendees must bring some form of photo ID (driver’s license, credit card, etc.) to clear building security. If you don’t have a photo ID but want to attend, send your full name by May 31 to john.read.bra@cityofboston.gov. 

5. Scholarships: The Alray Scholars Program offers scholarships of up to $5,000 for Boston public school students who left college early and want to return to earn degrees at two- or four-year colleges, trade schools or for other post-secondary education and certification programs.
