For those who don't know who I am, I am the Patch editor in Needham and Wellesley, and I am a JP resident.
I am joining the Walk for Change, on April 7, because many of my friends have been, or still are, involved in Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. It is a fantastic organization, although one I wish we did not need. They provide free services to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones, among those: a 24-hour hotlines for survivors of sexual assault. I may come across as glib, but know their work is a subject I take very seriously.
Which is where you come in: I want to raise some money--and I've set a fairly modest goal--to help them continue what they do. I'll need your help, so I can go out and walk around knowing we're putting our money where my feet will be: my mouth.

Can't afford it now? The deadline is actually in June, which is long after the walk.
Can't afford it at all? Really, no worries. Your support means a lot--you sharing or inviting friends, even moreso (regardless of whether or not they donate).
Already donated! Thanks so much!!

...I admit, I might be able to do it alone, but where's the fun in that?
