Boston Marathon Bombings Survivor Foxtrots Across Finish Line
Oberto Beef Jerky named her a "Hero of Summer" and will use the dancing segment in an upcoming company commercial.

It was the dance of dances.
Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a dancer who lost a third of her leg in the April 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, danced across the Boylston Street finish line on Tuesday.
Thirty-four-year-old Haslet-Davis, a former ballroom dancer from Marblehead, got the opportunity through Oberto Beef Jerky, who named her a “ Hero of Summer” and will be using the dance in one of its commercials, according to WHDH.

Traffic in the Back Bay was diverted to let Haslet-Davis and her dance partner perform a foxtrot across the finish line.
