Saturday’s robbery follows two incidents that occurred on Sept. 24. In the first incident that day, two victims told police they had been walking at the Jamaica Pond when they were approached by two unknown men who were armed and who robbed the victims of their possessions. On the same night, another victim told police he had been walking with his bicycle at the pond when two suspects forced him into a wooded area and robbed him, tying him to a tree before fleeing.
Boston police are currently looking for two suspects believed to be involved and described them as black Hispanic males in their early 20s, one being armed with a firearm and the other a knife. Police subsequently increased patrols of the area after a community meeting in Jamaica Plain on Friday, according to 7News.
