Boston Police Seek Public's Help in Finding Jamaica Pond Robbery Suspects
Two incidents occurred in the area on Wednesday of last week.

The Boston Police Department released a community alert on Tuesday night regarding two recent armed robbery incidents at the Jamaica Pond in Jamaica Plain.
The suspects believed to be involved in the incidents are described as two black Hispanic males in their early 20s, and have been armed, one with a firearm and the other with a knife, according to the alert.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at about 11 p.m., when police received a report of an armed robbery from two victims at the E-13 station. The victims involved told police they had been walking with three friends on the footpath of the Jamaica Pond when they were approached by two unknown men, one of whom displayed a black firearm, while the second revealed a knife. One of the suspects then placed his hand on the victim’s shoulder and demanded the victim’s possessions, and the suspects then searched both of the victims for additional possessions before fleeing the area on foot, according to BPD.

The second incident occurred around 11:25 p.m. the same night, when officers from Jamaica Plain responded to a call for an armed robbery in progress in the area of 33 Pond St. in Brookline. Upon arrival, police spoke with a victim who claimed he had been walking with his bicycle of the footpath of the Jamaica Pond when he was approached by two suspects who fitting the same description. One of the suspects displayed a black firearm, the second a knife, and the two then forced the victim toward a wooded area and robbed him of his possessions, then fled the area on foot and left the victim bound to a tree, according to BPD.
