Boy, 16, Held Without Bail in MBTA Stabbing Death
Ronaldo Cepeda is charged with murdering Mason Raymond at the Jackson Square Station in Jamaica Plain.

A 16-year-old juvenile was ordered held without bail Friday on a murder charge stemming from a fatal stabbing at the Jackson Square MBTA station in Jamaica Plain, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said.
Ronaldo Cepeda, of Dorchester, was arraigned in Roxbury Municipal Court on a charge of fatally stabbing Mason Raymond Thursday afternoon. Although he is a juvenile, Massachusetts law mandates that all murder defendants aged 14 or older are charged as adults.
Cepeda and Raymond, who knew each other, got into a fight outside the MBTA station around 3:20 p.m. During the altercation, investigators said Cepeda produced a knife, held it behind him so Raymond could not see it. When they engaged again, Cepeda stabbed Raymond.
