Curley Gets a New Principal

Former Principal Jeff Slater left after April vacation. See who will take over the top administrative job at the K-8 school.

The Curley K-8 School has a new principal taking over next year.

Katherine Grassa, of Dorchester, will become the principal at Curley for the 2012-2013 academic year, according to a Curley School blog post.

Grassa is an administrator at the Dever-McCormack K-8 School in Dorchester where “she has focused efforts on the school’s turnaround initiatives including its extended learning time program and building a great school culture,” according to a letter from Boston Schools Superintendent Carol R. Johnson, who leaves at the end of this academic year.
