Incredible Photos of Post-Bombing Boston to Be Published
The photos show Boston at a standstill merely days after the Boston Marathon blasts.
When the rest of the world was focused on the manhunt in Watertown just days after the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, Malden-born photographer Josh London snapped pictures of the city’s newly-barren streets.
Those photos, along with shots he took a year later for a “before and after” effect, will be published in a new book called “The Day Boston Stood Still.” All the proceeds from the book sales will go to the Brigham and Women’s Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Fund.
“The Day Boston Stood Still” is likely to hit shelves later this spring. In the meantime, you can view the gallery of Boston Marathon photos on London’s website.
