JP Neighborhood Council to Discuss Caffe Nero Petition, Take-Out Request
The JPNC will meet next week to discuss the company's presence in the neighborhood.

The Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council’s Public Service Committee will meet next Tuesday to discuss several items related to Italian coffee company Caffe Nero, which is looking to open a location on Centre Street.
Specifically, the committee plans to discuss a petition of Caffe Nero Americas, Inc. to do business as “Caffe Nero” at 733 Centre St. for a seven day common victualler license from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Jason Souza as manager. The committee also plans to consider a request for take-out for the business at a meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The company previously met with the Jamaica Plain Business and Professional Association in September, when representatives received continued pushback on taking root in JP, according to the Jamaica Plain News.
Also on the agenda next week will be a discussion of accessible street and bicycle safety, as well as a discussion on new art projects, such as murals in Jamaica Plain.

The meeting will be held at 7 pm. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Curtis Hall, 20 South St. in Jamaica Plain.
