Kiss at First Sight, Part 2: Strangers Smooch at Boston Marathon - and the Wife Finds Out
A Tennessee woman found her cowboy in the Commonwealth - but he's married.
Last week, most of us were tickled when we heard about the Boston Marathon runner from Tennessee who was dared to kiss a man and fell for him after they locked lips.
But it turns out that the mysterious Wellesley glass of water is married - and the wife of the runner’s would-be cowboy came out Sunday with guns ablazin’.
Thankfully, those guns were complete with flags popping out the barrels. The man’s wife found the occurrence, and subsequent media attention, humorous. The pair decided to remain anonymous after the hoopla, according to WHDH.

The challenge initially stemmed from a storied Boston Marathon tradition where men steal a smooch from a Wellesley girl along the route. But the runner pursued a new take on the custom by kissing a Wellesley man.
That man’s wife cited the kiss as a moment that captures the fun of the Boston Marathon. She also congratulated Barbara Tatge, the culprit and divorcée on her race time of 4:15:21.

Tatge, in turn, thanked the wife and apologized for the buzz that followed. She aims to kiss single men from now on, that is, if she chooses to reverse the Wellesley tradition again. We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.
