Man Arrested in Jamaica Plain Following Shots Fired Incident
Mauricio "Macho" Livingston was found hiding in a Jamaica Plain apartment following a shooting incident in Roxbury.

Boston Police arrested a suspected gunman in Jamaica Plain Saturday after responding to a shots fired incident in the Roxbury neighborhood, officials said.
Police arrested 21-year-old Mauricio “Macho” Livingston, of Hyde Park, Saturday afternoon at an apartment on 566 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain.
Livingston allegedly fired a gun near a residence on 208 Hampden Street following an argument and fled the scene, police said. Officers utilized all available investigative resources and were able to locate the suspect hiding inside the Jamaica Plain address a short time later.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident with the assistance of a SWAT Team. No one was injured during the incident.
Officers later recovered a loaded firearm from inside the apartment.

Livingston was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and firearm discharged within 500 feet of a dwelling.
