New Eliot Street Coffeehouse Music Series Begins in Fall

From the creator of the notloB parlour concert series.

Though notloB concerts are no more in Jamaica Plain, the creator is ready to start a new series across the street.

The Eliot Street Coffehouse will begin this fall at First Church in Jamaica Plain Unitarian-Universalist, 6 Eliot St.

Jeff Boudreau, creator of the series, closed notloB, which was run out of the Loring-Greenough building, earlier this year.

“Loring-Greenough, with its 18th century ambiance and acoustics was a wonderful venue, unfortunately the rent its owners (The Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club) proposed for what would have been our seventh year did not work in our model” Boudreau says.

The first will feature local Celtic music ensemble Fellswater Nov. 1.
