Teen Dies After Being Stabbed at MBTA Station
Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect in connection to Thursday's attack at the Jackson Square MBTA station.

A teenager has died after suffering life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon in a stabbing at the Jackson Square MBTA station in Jamaica Plain, Boston police confirmed.
Mason Raymond, 17, from Hyde Park, was stabbed following a fight inside the station around 3:30 p.m. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Around 2 a.m. Friday morning, investigators identified 16-year-old Ronaldo Cepeda, of Dorchester, as a suspect. Officers were able to arrest him in connection to the stabbing.
The suspect was arraigned in Roxbury District Court on Friday, police said.

The station was temporarily closed due to police activity, MBTA officials said. Orange Line service was bypassed in both directions while investigators worked at the scene. Service has since resumed.
The incident remains under investigation, but police said the attack was not random in nature.
