Pride on Perkins Street Today

The annual JP Block Party as part of Boston Pride week is today.

Tonight is the marquee event in a neighborhood celebrated for its diversity and acceptance.

The Pride Block Party: JP Edition is today on Perkins Street. The runs noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. The event is a collaboration between Dyke Night Productions and Boston Pride as part of Boston Pride week.

  • Boston Pride asks for a $10 donation, some proceeds go to Boston Pride.
  • Bags or backpacks will be searched before entry.
  • Family-friendly fun between noon and 3 p.m. including sidewalk art, music and face painting
  • Divas, Dogs & Drag Show and Adoption event at 3 p.m.
  • DJs: Moxie (from the Midway’s Queeraoke), Double D, Leah V and Carmin Wong
  • Food
  • Cash Bar

Perkins Street will be closed to traffic during the block party.
