Parker became involved in a verbal altercation with several individuals on board an MBTA bus that spilled into the street after the bus arrived at the Forest Hills Orange Line station shortly before 8:00 a.m. Friday, prosecutors said in court.

Parker allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire on the individuals as they fled from the area of Asticou Road and Washington Street. Prosecutors said a second man returned fire.

Images of the second gunman were captured by public safety cameras at the MBTA station and Acosta was identified as the person in the images by Boston Public School police and officials.

Lowe allegedly threatened one victim with a Taser device during the altercation, prosecutors said.

Boston and Transit Police officers interviewed witnesses and victims and located spent shell casings in the area where the shots were fired. Additional officers detained Parker and Lowe not far from the scene, and a witness positively identified Parker as the gunman, prosecutors said. A firearm and a Taser were found in Lowe’s handbag upon arrest.

Parker, Lowe, and Acosta will all return to court Nov. 12.
