Boston Magazine School Rankings: See Where Lexington Finished

See how Lexington did compared to other high schools in Greater Boston.

LEXINGTON, MA — Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.

Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Lexington finished fourth out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional high school came in at number one. Here's how Lexington's neighboring communities ranked:

  • Bedford High School ranked at No. 26
  • Burlington High School ranked at No. 72
  • Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School ranked at No. 3
  • Belmont High School ranked at No. 40
  • Arlington High School ranked at No. 45
