DPW Road Construction Report: July 19 to Aug. 6

Here is a look at what the Department of Pubic Works has on tap this week, and in early August, for road improvement and paving projects.

The street resurfacing schedule includes work on Fern Street, and in that area, starting today, July 19, through Aug. 6. Paving and driveway and sidewalk repairs are set to occur on School Street from July 23 to Aug. 6.

Starting Aug. 9, street resurfacing projects will take place on Burlington and Walnut streets. For a complete list of what work will be done, click here.

Repairs at Hanscom Air Force Base will also cause the gate at Hartwell Avenue to be closed in early August, with possible delays on Wood Street. Traffic will be rerouted on Rte. 2 and I-95 to Gate 2.

Work will be conducted from Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Aug. 9 at 6 a.m. A second closure will take place Friday, Aug. 27 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Aug. 30 at 6 a.m.
