An early-morning crash Monday on Bedford Street sent four people to the hospital with injuries, police said. The accident occurred Monday around 6:20 a.m. near the intersection of Bedford and Eldred streets. Lexington ambulances tok a 61-year-old woman to Lahey Hospital and a 25-year-old man to Mt. Auburn hospital with unspecified injuries. Bedford and Burlington paramedics also assisted, and took two other people by ambulance to Lahey Hospital, including a 48-year-old man. One driver was cited in the collision, police said.
