Lacrosse, Track Heading into Post-Season Action
Girls' and boys' lacrosse teams play Wednesday, Saturday
The Lexington High School girls' and boys' lacrosse teams are gearing up for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) tournament playoffs, with first-round action happening this week.
Members of the boys' and girls' track teams will also be heading to the MIAA All State Meet, set for Saturday at 3 p.m. at Westfield State College.
The girls' lacrosse team finished the regular season with a 14-5-1 record, and as the eighth-seeded team in Division 1 North will take on ninth-seeded Westford Academy, which finished 10-10-0 in the regular season.

The game is scheduled for tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln Park fields in Lexington. The winner will next face in the quarterfinals either Framingham or Lowell, with those teams squaring off today in a first-round matchup.
The boys' lacrosse team enters the first round of Division 1 East playoffs with a 13-7 record, and seeded 10th will take on seventh-seeded Barnstable (17-2).

That game will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. in Barnstable. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals, to take on the winner of the St. John's Prep versus Waltham or North Quincy game.
The boys' and girls' tennis teams await seeding and tournament pairings, which will be announced tomorrow. The softball team seeding and tournament pairings should be available this afternoon, with baseball seeding and pairing information expected by tomorrow morning.
