A perfect 20-0 record this season wasn't quite enough to land the Lexington High School boys' tennis team in the top spot going into the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) playoffs in North Division 1.
The tournament seedings, announced yesterday, gave Concord-Carlisle High School, with an unblemished 18-0 record, the top seed and a first-round bye. Lexington, as the second-seeded team, also received a bye in the first round.
The Minutemen will host a quarterfinals match-up on Monday, June 7 at 3:30 p.m., against the winner of tomorrow's first round game between seventh-seeded St. John's Prep (13-5) and 10th-seeded Methuen (9-7).
