Lions Club Carnival Starts Tomorrow

Annual event will run through Monday.

The Lexington Lions Club's annual Fourth of July Carnival begins tomorrow at with games, rides, food and fireworks planned.

The festivities kick off tomorrow with the carnival open from 6 to 11 p.m., with Friday hours also from 6 to 11 p.m. Over the holiday weekend, carnival hours are Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 7 p.m.

From 1 to 5 p.m. on Monday, "kiddies day" includes a discount, with 33 percent fewer tickets collected per ride, while youth games will also be held Saturday at 10 a.m.

Ride wristbands good for unlimited rides are available for $20 and can be used Thursday from 6 p.m. to close, Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 6 p.m. to close.

The fireworks show is scheduled to go off on Friday after sunset.
