Yesterday, a public meeting was held for residents to ask questions about a transportation plan for the Hartwell Avenue and Bedford Street area where changes are proposed that could bring new lanes and roundabouts.
The plan was presented on Wednesday night at the Board of Selectmen's meeting, where the board had a chance to ask questions about the plan.
On Friday, the Lexington High School boys' tennis team won the Division 1 North sectional championship, beating Concord-Carlisle High School 3-2. Both teams entered the match undefeated, and Lexington now advances to the Division 1 state championships.

Earlier in the week, the tennis team beat St. John's Prep 4-1 on Monday to advance to the semifinals. Lexington then beat Andover 3-2 to move on to the finals.
Also on Friday, the Cary Memorial Library opened its doors for a unique event. the vision of the library's Teen Advisory Board, attracted teens and adults for a night of contra and swing dancing.

Today, the LHS softball team plays its Division 1 North sectional championship, taking on Concord-Carlisle at 3 p.m. at Martin Field in Lowell. Lexington is ranked 12th and beat two higher seeded teams – Boston Latin and Central Catholic – this week to reach the finals.
