Monday, July 5

2:03 p.m. – A wire needed repair on Westwood Road. Police closed the road briefly.

6:45 p.m. – A cat was reported as lost on Peachtree Road.

7:13 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident damaging property was reported on Bedford Street.

9:30 p.m. – A disabled car was reported on Bedford Street at Rte. 128.

 

Sunday, July 4

1:18 a.m. – A possible domestic dispute was reported on Katahdin Drive.

2:56 a.m. – An open door at a residence or business was reported on Bedford Street.

4:09 a.m. – A hit-and-run accident with property damage was reported on Mason Street.

10:26 a.m. – Assistance was needed pumping out a pool on Battle Green Road after a water main break Saturday.

11:56 a.m. – A hit-and-run accident with property damage was reported on Grant Street.

1:56 p.m. – A disabled car was reported on Bedford Street.

6:38 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Springdale Road.

8:05 p.m. – A Medford man was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property after vandalizing a bathroom in a Depot Square restaurant, police said. Mark R. Sokolski, 18, of 134 Washington St., was also charged with alcohol possession by a minor, police said. Damage was done to the walls and tiles, and a urinal divider was ripped out of the wall, police said.

8:15 p.m. – A coyote sighting was reported to Animal Control.

10:27 p.m. – A disabled car was reported on Mass Avenue.

 

Saturday, July 3

1:15 a.m. – A noise complaint was received from Grant Street.

12:59 p.m. – A wire was reported as down on Dane Road.

1:08 p.m. – A cat was reported as found on Main Campus Drive.

2:02 p.m. – A car accident occurred on Winchester Drive.

3:33 p.m. – Larceny was reported on Bedford Street. A Kindle was reported as stolen from the pool area at the Boston Sports Club.

4:17 p.m. – A driver was cited for driving with a revoked license on Lowell Street.

7:57 p.m. – A water main broke on Mass Avenue at Estabrook Road. The break caused flooding in yards and homes at about five houses, police said, including on Battle Green Road and Mass Avenue.

10:32 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on East Street.

10:46 p.m. – An animal was hit by a car on Lowell Street.

 

Friday, June 2

6:19 a.m. – Vandalism to a car was reported on East Street.

7:40 a.m. – A driver on Bedford Street was cited for driving with a suspended registration.

9:03 a.m. – A dog complaint was received from Bowser Road, of dogs in a resident's yard.

12:37 p.m. – Shoplifting was reported on Waltham Street.

2:31 p.m. – An attempted larceny of a license plate was reported on Main Campus Drive.

2:36 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Main Campus Drive.

2:56 p.m. – A wire was reported as down on Foster Road.

4:16 p.m. – A tree was reported as down on Douglas Road.

 

Thursday, July 1

6:26 a.m. – A town bylaw violation of construction hours was reported on Parker Street.

7:04 a.m. – A noise complaint was received from Parker Street.

8:02 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street.

8:52 a.m. – A disabled car was reported on Pleasant Street.

9:01 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street. The driver hit a utility pole and was taken by ambulance to Lahey with injuries not considered serious. The driver was cited  for impeded operation, police said.

11:32 a.m. – A local man was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, police said. Zhu Xue Zhuang, 73, of 24C Greeley Village, was also charged with assault and battery on an elderly person and intimidation of a witness, police said.

3:20 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Peachtree Road.

5:52 p.m. – A car was reported as broken into on Cherry Street.

6:00 p.m. – A bicycle was reported as stolen on Mass Avenue.

6:23 p.m. – A jewelry case was found on Vine Street.

10:44 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Oakmount Circle.

 

Wednesday, June 30

1:15 a.m. – A local man was arrested on Bedford Street following a traffic stop, police said. Derek S. Campbell, 19, of 58 Harding Road, was charged with driving with a revoked license, police said.

10:13 a.m. – Theft from a car was reported on Constitution Road.

10:21 a.m. – An attempted breaking and entering was reported at a house under construction on Somerset Road. Someone tried to enter the home during the night by prying open a rear door of the garage. Entry to the house was not gained, police said.

12:51 p.m. – A dog bite was reported on Bowser Road.

1:22 p.m. – A burglary was reported on Calvin Street. Two mahogany tables were reported as taken.

3:50 p.m. – Police received information on a bank robbery in Cambridge.

7:05 p.m. – A car accident occurred on Mass Avenue.

8:56 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on Lowell Street.

9:41 p.m. – Obscene phone calls were reported on Mass Avenue.

9:45 p.m. – A burglary was reported on Webster Road. A homeowner reported a large sum of money being taken from the home two weeks prior. Police are investigating.

10:57 p.m. – A noise complaint about fireworks was reported on Sutherland Road.

 

Tuesday, June 29

1:52 a.m. – An open door was reported at a residence or business on Marrett Road.

7:40 a.m. – A Carver man was arrested on default warrants from Wareham following a traffic stop, police said. Manuel A. Amado Jr., 30, of 22 Russell Holmes Way, was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of class B substance, police said.

10:23 a.m. – A DPW worker reported a dog bite on Mass Avenue. The dog is being quarantined for 10 days as per town bylaws for first offense dog bites.

10:24 a.m. – Shoplifting was reported on Lincoln Street.

11:30 a.m. – A wire was reported as down on Woburn Street.

12:05 p.m. – A car was reported as disabled on Bedford Street.

2:31 p.m. – A landlord on Mass Avenue reported a problem with former tenants.

2:43 p.m. – Police checked on solicitors on Flintlock Road.

5:22 p.m. – A drug offense was reported on Hartwell Avenue.

8:05 p.m. – Vandalism to property was reported on Fottler Avenue.

9:05 p.m. – A driver was stopped by police on Ellison Road for erratic driving.

9:33 p.m. – A lost or stolen cell phone was reported on Bedford Street.

9:35 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Thoreau Road.

10:32 p.m. – A loud house party was reported on Foster Road.

10:42 p.m. – Barking dogs were reported on Porter Lane.

11:11 p.m. – An accident occurred on Marrett Road.

 

Monday, June 28

1:08 a.m. – Open windows were reported at a business on Marrett Road.

6:23 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street.

9:50 a.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Peacock Farm Road.

10:45 a.m. – A DPW employee reported a dog bite on Eaton Street, causing a minor puncture wound. The dog is being quarantined for 10 days as per town bylaws for first offense dog bites.

10:59 a.m. – Trash dumping was reported on Brandon Street.

12:29 p.m. – A breaking and entering was reported on Hill Street, which occurred between June 25 and 28. Entry to the home was gained through a rear door, and an undisclosed amount of jewelry was taken. Police are investigating.

2:49 p.m. – A Nextel cell phone was found on Balfour Street.

3:15 p.m. – Bicycles were reported stolen on Mass Avenue.

3:32 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported on Vine Street.

4:59 p.m. – Car keys were reported as stolen from the mail on Churchill Lane.

5:20 p.m. – A driver was cited on Mass Avenue at Pleasant Street with driving with a suspended license.

7:04 p.m. – Police arrested a Medford woman on Worthen Road on a warrant from Lawrence District Court. Toni Colarullo, 40, of 392 Fellsway West St., was charged with larceny over $250, police said.

10:52 p.m. – A narcotic drug offense was reported on Sollys Way.

11:34 p.m. – Police arrested a local man on Bedford Street. Matthew J. Waters, 30, of 6 Calvin St., was charged with driving an uninsured car, police said.
